Red Velvet have made a strong return with their new mini album “Velvet Summer”, released on August 3 at 6 p.m. KST alongside the title track “Surfin’ Boy.”

Within hours, the release surged up iTunes charts worldwide, reaching No.1 in at least 15 regions. European fans contributed to the momentum, with the album topping charts in countries including Denmark and Sweden.

The mini album also secured top 10 positions in 28 regions, notably including France and the Netherlands, highlighting the group’s continued popularity across Europe.

Beyond iTunes, “Velvet Summer” performed strongly in Asia, hitting No.1 on major Chinese platforms such as QQ Music and KuGou Music, while also leading QQ Music’s MV chart.

In South Korea, the title track “Surfin’ Boy” quickly reached No.1 on Bugs’ realtime chart shortly after release, confirming strong domestic support.

This comeback marks another global success for Red Velvet, with both international and European listeners driving impressive early chart results.
