Park Bo Gum Confirmed as 2026 MAMA Awards Host and First Ambassador

Park Bo Gum has been confirmed as the host of the 2026 MAMA Awards, returning to lead the ceremony for the eighth time since first hosting in 2017.

The actor has also been named the inaugural MAMA Awards Ambassador, a new role introduced for this year’s event.

The 2026 edition will be held over two days at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan on 20 and 21 November.

This year’s theme, MUSIC INTERSTELLAR, focuses on artists and fans connecting through music across borders, time and space.

As ambassador and host, Park Bo Gum is expected to guide viewers through both nights and introduce special stages and collaborations.

For European K-pop fans following online, the announcement adds another familiar face to one of the year’s biggest Asian music award events.
