Onew releases “Tic Tac Toe” featuring Zico

SHINee member Onew released his new collaboration single “Tic Tac Toe”, featuring Zico, on 7 October at 6 p.m. KST.

The track is the second title song from Onew’s forthcoming single album Chakgak.

“Tic Tac Toe” blends R&B and hip-hop influences, using the familiar game as a metaphor for the uncertain feelings between two people.

The lyrics explore a relationship that sits somewhere between friendship and romance, with Onew and Zico bringing contrasting perspectives to the story.

Both artists contributed to the song’s writing and composition, making it a creative meeting between Onew’s melodic style and Zico’s hip-hop sensibility.

A visualiser for the release is also available for fans to watch alongside the track.

European Shawols and Zico fans can now add the collaboration to their playlists while waiting for more details on Chakgak.
