Kang Tae Oh and Won Ji An confirmed as MCs for 2026 KM Chart Awards

Actors Kang Tae Oh and Won Ji An have been officially announced as the hosts of the 2026 KM Chart Awards (KMA), set to take place on July 25 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Tiger Dome in Seoul.

This marks Kang Tae Oh’s first time leading a K-pop awards ceremony. Known for his roles in popular dramas such as Extraordinary Attorney Woo, he is now stepping into the music scene as an MC, a field he has long shown interest in.

With his quick wit and relaxed humour, expectations are high for his hosting style as he takes on a new challenge in front of a global K-pop audience.

Won Ji An will join him as co-host. The actress has gained international recognition through projects like Squid Game and Made in Korea, building a growing fanbase beyond South Korea, including in Europe.
