K-pop Acts Dominate Billboard World Albums Chart with Multiple Top 10 Entries

The latest Billboard World Albums chart (week ending June 27) is once again dominated by K-pop releases, highlighting the genre’s sustained global demand, including across Europe.

CORTIS takes the top two positions, with GREENGREEN returning to No. 1 in its eighth week, while their debut EP COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES climbs to No. 2 after an impressive 42 weeks on the chart.

LE SSERAFIM holds steady at No. 3 with PUREFLOW, followed by aespa at No. 4 with LEMONADE, both maintaining strong multi-week runs.

BTS continues to show long-term chart power, with Proof jumping to No. 5 in its 211th week. Their Japanese release Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~ also remains on the chart.

Elsewhere, ILLIT stays at No. 6, while BOYNEXTDOOR reaches No. 7 in just its second week. Stray Kids places four albums on the chart, underlining their consistent international popularity.

TXT rounds out the top 10, with additional appearances from ENHYPEN and NewJeans, whose releases continue to chart long after their initial launch.

The strong showing across multiple generations of K-pop acts reflects a stable and growing fanbase worldwide, with European listeners continuing to play a key role in streaming and album sales.
