I.O.I earn first-ever ‘Music Core’ win with anniversary track “Suddenly”

I.O.I have secured their very first win on MBC’s Music Core, marking a special moment in their career a decade after debut.

On the June 13 broadcast, their anniversary single “Suddenly” competed against ILLIT’s “It’s Me” and aespa’s “LEMONADE.” I.O.I took first place with a total of 7,815 points.

This victory is particularly meaningful for long-time fans, as it is the group’s first trophy on Music Core since their debut 10 years ago.
