BTS have reached another major YouTube milestone with their global hit “Dynamite.” The music video officially surpassed 2.1 billion views on June 24 at around 8 a.m. KST.

Released on August 21, 2020, the track took roughly five years, 10 months, and a few days to hit this mark, continuing its long-running popularity worldwide.

With this achievement, “Dynamite” becomes the first music video by a K-pop boy group to cross 2.1 billion views, reinforcing BTS’s record-breaking presence on the platform.

The song also remains the group’s most-viewed music video to date. Notably, it added another 100 million views in about nine months after previously reaching 2 billion.

For European fans, “Dynamite” continues to be one of BTS’s most recognisable tracks, thanks to its English lyrics, disco-pop sound, and strong radio play across the region.

The milestone highlights the track’s lasting appeal and the group’s enduring global reach, years after its original release.
