2026 The Fact Music Awards reveals special-stage plans

The 2026 The Fact Music Awards has unveiled details of special stages planned for its ceremony in Busan, South Korea.

The event will open with three fifth-generation groups reinterpreting well-known K-pop songs: xikers will perform BTS’s “Hooligan”, CLOSE YOUR EYES will cover NCT DREAM’s “Beat It Up”, and tripleS will take on aespa’s “LEMONADE”.

TREASURE’s Jihoon and KiiiKiii’s Jiyu, both originally from Busan, are also set to share a duet stage. Their collaboration connects with this year’s theme, “Shine on, Dream One”, and the ceremony’s host city.

xikers and ATEEZ are preparing performances of songs that have not previously appeared on a music-show stage. CLOSE YOUR EYES will additionally debut an unreleased track at the awards ceremony.

The event is scheduled for 19 September at Busan Asiad Main Stadium. For European fans, the announced stages offer several exclusive performances to look out for alongside the main awards programme.
